The CA27 is a full-featured, fully ruggedized tablet computer that can go anywhere and adaptable to the application.

It features the Intel Centrino 1.6GHz CPU, up to 1GB DDR RAM, a 120GB shock-mounted Hard Drive, and Getac’s own unique X-Bay options. The X-Bay lets the user select and upgrade the CA27 with additional wireless LAN & CDPD modules, extra serial, Ethernet and IEEE Firewire ports, or the users’ own custom modules.

With an optional vehicle docking station and wireless keyboard, the CA27 is built to survive drops, rain, dust, salt air, and other harsh environments. Encased in a die-cast magnesium shell, the CA27 is Mil-Spec tested and certified for all field conditions including uses in transportation, shipping, warehouse, import and export facilities, industrial field work and facilities, utilities, emergency services and government operations.

The bright, 10.4” touch screen is completely sealed from the elements. It has state-of-the-art digitizing technology with enhanced writing recognition and secured wireless communication and networking capabilities making the system an advanced solution for Wi-Fi mobile networks.

Flexible, smart and rugged
Enabled with both bar code and RFID scanning capabilities, the MX3-RFID allows the flexibility to use one unit for both bar code and RFID data collection.

The MX3-RFID runs a Windows® CE .NET OS, and is rugged. The tag reader and RFID antennas are fully protected in a low-profile enclosure in the rear of the unit - so there are no worries about damaging fragile external RFID antennas.

Simple to operate
Easily control what's being read by the MX3-RFID with the unit's user controlled "read range" (RF power setting).

API's are available for simple application development. The MX3-RFID includes "keyboard wedge" software that places EPC data directly into the keyboard buffer so off-the-shelf applications can access the data without complex development.
